Did you know that it’s not only possible to get a brand new set of dentures in one day, but it’s also very affordable too? Well, you do now! Southern Smiles Dental Center specializes in same-day dentures. This is possible because of our on-site dental lab. Since we make everything right here, we don’t need to send dental impressions out to be made.

What happens during the same-day denture process? Great question, let’s take the mystery out of it. Here’s an outline of what you can expect on that day:

1. X-Rays and Impressions – First thing in the morning, you’ll come in for a complete set of X-rays and gum impressions, then come back later that afternoon.
2. Molds and Models – Next, our on-site dental lab will create a model of your new dentures, including the color, brightness, and other aesthetic requests indicated.
3. Dentures Created – Once we have everything in place, your new set of dentures is hand-created.
4. Denture Fitting and Adjustments – That same afternoon, you’ll return for a fitting and adjustment appointment. Here, we’ll fine-tune your new dentures to make sure they fit your mouth perfectly.
5. Follow-up Appointment – Over the next few weeks, it’s not uncommon for dentures to need slight adjustments while your gums are adjusting to them. Because of this, we’re here to make sure they’re fitting comfortably and properly.
